Hertfordshire Scouts spend a fantastic weekend Phasels Wood Scout Camp.

As President of Hertfordshire Scouts – the Lord-Lieutenant spent a very wet and muddy day with over 800 scouts and 300 adult volunteers who spent the 2 day weekend at Phasels Wood Scout camp near Hemel Hempstead.

Every one of the 1100 had smiles on their faces, especially the very muddy scouts. As one scout said “This is the best mud ever…! I am having such fun”… The Lord-Lieutenant’s day was spent visiting most of the 120 activity sites watching scouts doing everything from building bridges to frying breakfast. “ It brought back memories of my own scouting days
