Fifth Anniversary of Sunnyside Rural Trust being awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service

Deputy Lieutenant Liz Green was delighted to attend the fifth anniversary since Sunnyside Rural Trust was awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. Trainees were on hand to talk about the various activities they take part in across the sites in Northchurch, Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead. Badges were awarded to volunteers who had volunteered for more than five years, with one couple having volunteered for seventeen years and still loving it. It was a bonus to listen to a performance by Electric Umbrella – a wonderful and joyful occasion.
