Holywell Community Centre in Watford ‘Celebrate Gambia 2026’.

Deputy Lieutenant Liz Green represented the Lord-Lieutenant at the Holywell Community Centre in Watford to ‘Celebrate Gambia 2026’.

Celebrate Gambia was an opportunity for those with links to Gambia to come together, dance and chat, and the group were joined by both the civic mayor and the elected mayor of Watford. A very happy occasion celebrating ‘the Smiling Coast of Africa’.  It was lovely to see children and adults joining in the fun, and more events are planned by Rhoda and Valerie.
