75th Annual Dinner of the George Fuller Club

Vice Lord-Lieutenant Sally Burton represented the Lord-Lieutenant at the 75th Annual Dinner of the George Fuller Club for the Blind & Visually Impaired on 26th September at the Bushby Hall in Wormley. Formed in 1951, the club provides monthly meetings, a summer outing and an annual dinner for their local members, often providing transport as well as entertainment. George Fuller’s daughter-in-law and grandson had flown over from Portugal to share the celebrations, with heartfelt speeches followed by music and dancing.
