Welwyn Hatfield Civic Service 2024

Marion Brown DL was delighted to attend the Welwyn Hatfield Civic Service on Sunday 11th February at Our Lady, Queen of Apostles Church. Marion is pictured with Andrew Brown, Mayor of the Borough of Welwyn Hatfield, Councillor Pankit Shah, together with his wife Mrs Vaishali Shah and their daughters. The service was conducted by Canon Norbert Fernandez, Parish Priest of WGC Catholic churches who is also Chair of the Christian Leaders’ Group and Catholic Dean of Stevenage. Participants included Her Grace Visalia Devi Dani, Watford Temple President, HH Shri Rajrajeshwar Guru, Hindu and Spiritual Community Leader of the International Siddhashram Shakti Centre and choirs from Our Lady Primary School and Holy Family Primary School. It was a very happy occasion where the congregation were encouraged to think about helping each other in our local communities. A collection was taken in aid of the Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City Foodbanks, both of which are the Mayor’s nominated charities.
