Visit to London Colney Community Centre

On 30th January 2020, Marion Brown DL enjoyed a wonderful visit to the London Colney Community Centre. After observing the ‘seated exercise class’ for more senior members of the community, she attended the lunch club and enjoyed meeting a number of the regular attendees from the local area. The menu was excellent and served at tables by a very committed and cheerful group of volunteers It was wonderful to see a Community Centre providing regular opportunities throughout the week for local residents to enjoy meeting together. All of this organised expertly by Emma Payne, Parish Clerk. The (first) photograph shows Marion with the three regular volunteers who served us all so well. The (second) photograph shows Marion with the two amazing cooks who served up a delicious meal.
