The Isabel Hospice and Parkinson’s UK Event
On 17th October 2018, Penny Williams DL attended an event jointly held by The Isabel Hospice Welwyn Garden City and The Welwyn Hatfield Branch of Parkinson’s UK.
The evening provided an ideal opportunity to reach out to those in the community who can be helped by the two organisations.
Isabel Hospice is a registered charity which provides free palliative care and support for patients and their families living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses such as MND, end stage renal conditions, end stage heart conditions, respiratory conditions or other neurological conditions, throughout eastern Hertfordshire.
The Welwyn and Hatfield branch of Parkinson’s UK offers information, friendship and support to local people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers and organises regular events and social activities.
