It was with great sadness I heard of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II yesterday evening. The Queen was the only monarch many of us knew, and she was an example and role model for leaders and ordinary people across the world. She served and did her duty, unflinchingly and without complaint for 70 years, watching as the world changed at rapid pace, never failing to keep up. We will remember with fondness the moments we saw her personality shine, whether at the Olympics with James Bond, or taking tea with Paddington. At this time I also send... Read more

At this time I also send my condolences to her family. I am truly sorry for your loss, for the nations loss.

I am deeply saddened by the death of Queen Elizabeth II. I would like to offer my condolences to King Charles III and his family and I hope that they will give him strength as he moves forward. In my opinion, Queen Elizabeth served this country with grace, poise, love and determination. I hope above all that she is now reunited with her friends, family and much loved husband.

Although we have lost our Queen our King and his family have lost their mother grandmother and great grandmother and compass that guided the way. My thoughts are with you.I pray you have time to remember, reflect and hope that the pain you must all feel subsides to be replaced with the joy of memories, ones of the best of times you spent together.

I came here from Australia 38yrs ago and since then The Queen has been part of my life a truly wonderful woman ,so wise ,with always the right word at the right moment- she will be so missed by so many . We so needed her kind words at so many times.

A truly amazing mother/grandmother/wife/Head of state whom has left a Legacy unlike no other before her.
