Pride of Dacorum Awards 2026

Liz Green OBE DL attended the Pride of Dacorum Awards, held at Pendley Manor. Cadets from Herts & Beds ACF were on duty, and it was wonderful to hear students from Tring Performing Arts School singing some well-known songs. Individuals and small charities were recognised for the fantastic work that they do, and it was good to meet those who either work for or volunteer for a number of charities across Hertfordshire. Funds raised from the tombola, organised by Community Action Dacorum, were in aid of The Mayor’s Future Fund, which provides grants to local groups. The mayor gave a heartfelt summary of her year, including her recent 100 km walk in aid of the fund.
