Lord-Lieutenant visits Merchant Taylors school in Northwood

On 16^th January the Lord-Lieutenant visited Merchant Taylors School in Northwood. After being given a guided tour of the whole school- including the very impressive new indoor cricket facility at which Middlesex CCC were training (The Lord-Lieutenant is a Life Member of Middlesex CCC). He spent time in the D & T building -the facility opened by HRH The Duke of Gloucester in 2015 at which the LL was present as a DL). The pupils were putting into practice some ingenious ideas and inventions and there are certainly some future young entrepreneurs in the making. After lunch with the senior leadership team and the Headmaster, he discussed the strong Combined Cadet Force and Duke of Edinburgh engagement at the school.
