Lieutenancy Visit to the Garden House Hospice Care

On February 27th, 2025, Deputy Lieutenants Jane McCue, Karen Trew, and Helen Hanbury visited Garden House Hospice Care in Letchworth for a “Seeing is Believing” session, where they had the opportunity to meet the Compassionate Neighbours team.

The hospice is looking to expand its Compassionate Neighbours service and Wellbeing Hubs, aiming to reach more individuals earlier, reduce hospital admissions, and improve overall quality of life.

The session featured a seated exercise program, a presentation from the Fundraising team about their Winter Appeal, and a Q&A, with refreshments served afterward.
