Holocaust Memorial at Lowewood Museum Gardens 2023

On 27^th January 2023, Karen Trew DL attended the Holocaust Memorial Event at the Holocaust memorial at Lowewood Museum Gardens in Hoddesdon.

The event was hosted by Councillor Paul Seeby, Mayor of Broxbourne and this poignant service focussed on this year’s Holocaust theme of “Ordinary People”.

Children from three local school read poems and laid flowers at the memorial and doves were released at the conclusion of the Commemoration.

The High Sheriff, Sally Burton DL was in attendance, alongside many invited guests and members of the public.

Afterwards, refreshments were served at the Spotlight in High Street, Hoddesdon.
