East of England Ambulance Service gain Dyslexia Friendly Workplace Quality Silver Medal
Having gained their Bronze award in 2023, the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust worked incredibly hard to gain the British Dyslexia Association’s Dyslexia Friendly Workplace Quality Medal Silver recognition, and with a demanding criteria to meet, they have just achieved the Gold level. The EEAS is the first organisation in the UK to achieve the gold award, which is a fantastic achievement for Justin Honey-Jones and the Trust for their vision. Their dyslexia friendly workplace makes a huge difference to those who are neurodivergent, which is over 40% of their students, and includes individuals who range in age from 18 to over 60. Early diagnosis of dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties enables specialist support to be quickly offered and qualifications to be achieved far quicker than was previously possible.
