Swearing in ceremony for new Herts Magistrates

On 26th February, Marion Brown DL was delighted to attend the swearing in ceremony of three new Hertfordshire Magistrates. On behalf of the Lord-Lieutenant, who is Chair of the Hertfordshire Advisory Committee, Marion, who is herself a Magistrate, reflected on the importance of the Judicial Oath and thanked her new colleagues for offering themselves and their time to serve the community in this key role. Pictured with the new Magistrates and Marion are  HHJ Lana Wood, Honorary Recorder and Resident Judge at St Albans Crown Court and Nicholas Buxton, High Sheriff of Hertfordshire. The new Magistrates were also warmly welcomed by Stephen Pam, Bench Chair West and Central Hertfordshire Bench and Rosemary Bolton, Deputy Chair of North and East Hertfordshire Bench.
