West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust Tea Party

Mrs Jo Connell OBE DL represented the Lieutenancy at the West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust Tea party to celebrate the 70th birthday of the NHS and the contribution made by volunteers at the West Herts Trust. The Trust has around 500 volunteers, who are an integral part of patient care. The party was attended by about 100 volunteers a number of whom were receiving long service awards.The volunteer who had served the longest time was Mavis who had done 33 Years!
