The Lord-Lieutenant opens the new Forces United Lounge at Watford FC

On 11th November 2023- Remembrance Day- The Lord-Lieutenant opened the new Forces United Lounge at Watford FC which has become a possibility thanks to Deputy Lieutenant Luther Blissett and his partner Lauren.
He then laid a wreath at kick-off and led the halftime parade of veterans and cadets around the ground to loud applause of appreciation.
The Lord-Lieutenant said – “ I had always dreamed of leading out a professional football team…but not perhaps quite like this…!”
The Forces United lounge was created (and designed) by Lauren, who also produced the entire Forces United event at the Club from start to finish.
