Survivors Against Domestic Abuse Café Exhibition

On 22nd November 2023, Deputy Lieutenant Sally Burton represented the Hertfordshire Lieutenancy at the Stevenage
Borough Council offices to open their SADA (Survivors Against Domestic Abuse) Café Exhibition. On display were poignant quotes from various survivors, some of whom she met, placed alongside everyday objects that trigger memories of their abuse. The recently formed charity, Friends of SADA, was represented in the photo by their Chair of Trustees Barbara Ball, and the SADA lead, Sarah Pateman.

Sally was invited to sit on the SADA Strategic Board after her focus as High Sheriff on the impact of addiction to drugs and alcohol on communities.
