St Georges Day Parade St Albans

On 26th April 2026, Vice Lord-Lieutenant Sally Burton attended the St George’s Day Parade in St Albans.

Members of the St Albans district Scouting and Guides associations marched through the city centre as part of their annual St George’s Day Parade – celebrating scouting in all its forms.

Youngsters from Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorer Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides met outside the Civic Centre before making their way through the vintage market in St Peter’s Street and Market Place, then down to Verulamium Park.

Also in attendance was the mayor of St Albans as well as the member of parliament Daisy Cooper.
