Sally Burton DL attends St John Day Celebrations in Stevenage
On Thursday 24th June Sally Burton DL represented the Lieutenancy to celebrate St John Day and to say thank you to the organisations’ volunteers who have been working tirelessly through the pandemic vaccine rollout across the UK. This was arranged by the County President, Dr Deborah Taverner, as an acknowledgment of the St John Ambulance team of vaccination volunteers in Hertfordshire and it took place at the Lamex Stadium the home of Stevenage Football Club. On arrival, Sally was greeted by the Lord-Lieutenant’s St John Ambulance cadet Ugonna Umunnakwe and went on to meet the 17 volunteers in attendance at the stadium.
