Royal British Legion Rickmansworth Marks 100th Anniversary

The Royal British Legion branch in Rickmansworth celebrated its 100th anniversary on Saturday, August 14. The branch’s inaugural meeting was held more than a century ago, on August 11, 1921.

Deputy Lieutenant, Harjit Singh, unveiled the new sign outside the Rickmansworth and West Hyde branch on Ebury Road, before reading the congratulatory message from Her Majesty The Queen.

The new 100-year pennant was fitted to the branch standard and the Exhortation was recited by the Hertfordshire County Parade Marshal, Mr Geoffrey Fisher.
