Repeating of the Retreat by the East Anglian Regiment

On 14th July 2023, the Lord-Lieutenant attended the Repeating of the Retreat by the Royal Anglian regiment at Bedford School together with the Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire and the respective High Sheriffs.

Sadly, the inclement weather meant that the parade had to be held indoors but it was still a most memorable occasion listening to the wonderful band. The Lord-Lieutenant attended, not only in his role as President of the Hertfordshire Military Committee but also as president of the East Anglian Reserve Forces and Cadets Association.
