The Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, Her Majesty’s personal representative in the County, sends his deepest condolences to the Royal family and he supports honouring the memories of Her Majesty.

We will all greatly miss you ma'am. I never got to meet you or see you but your presence has always been steadfast and permanent, that's what is hard to bare now, it wasn't permanent. Your service and foundation for the whole country and realm will be missed. Even though you were the most recognisable person in the world for decades, your words were always so perfectly timed and supportive for this nation. I know King Charles III will carry on the british royal tradition of servitude just as perfectly, albeit differently, as you've shown how.
