Hertfordshire’s Book of Remembrance for
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
Welcome to this online book of remembrance for HM Queen Elizabeth II who sadly passed away on 8th September 2022. You can submit an entry, or view other entries, using the buttons below.
The Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, Her Majesty’s personal representative in the County, sends his deepest condolences to the Royal family and he supports honouring the memories of Her Majesty.

It has been a privilege to grow up with the Queen. I have fond memories of my Nan, Agnes Hughes, and my Great Aunty Mary Kiernan and games pretending the Queen was coming to tea. She has done well by this country and her family are in my thoughts and prayers. My son, Robert, will now be experiencing a different era and I’ll have to update his UK monarch's mugs! Going to be strange tomorrow as the Queens funeral is in the sane day as my mums birthday! RIP QEII
