Your majesty, thank you so much for your many years of service and sacrifice.
You were the constant in our lives; always there as the PMs changed and the political parties argued. With your calm and reassuring voice, people gathered and were brought together in your name for your annual Christmas speech, your jubilees, speaking to us during the pandemic and war, your visits and countless other occasions.
Your stoicism, Christian values, grace , love and respect for all faiths, smiles, beauty and love of horses and corgis made me and many others feel so proud to be British and have you as our Queen.
Rest in peace, ma’am, for you have well and truly earned this.
Deepest condolences to your family during this difficult time.
