When l heard the news l was so very sad as every Christmas Day my mum would gather all 7 of us around the the TV and say “ Shhh everyone my friend is talking”. We would listen to every word. My mum was presented to the Queen in 1963. She never forgot her experience and we loved hearing about it from her. Unexpected memories and, I’m sure the Queen has touched millions of people and not just my little family. What a woman what a delightful smile.
