The queen has been around all my life , I’ve never experienced a king. This queen was special as it was her uncle that abdicated and gave way to his brother to take the throne . When he passed the queen Elizabeth the 11 took over . I’ve witnessed three jubilees the silver one where I was made to dress up as a newspaper with the queens news on . We got a sovereign to keep. The bond and the Paddington bear will stay with me for ever as the had me smiling at a time I was deeply unhappy. She showed affection for her family and it showed in her facial expressions . She was a strong and trusted lady who stuck to her word no matter what . A woman in reigns putting right so many wrongs was fantastic. Her love for Philip showed in life and his passing . She lost that zest to go on and now will once again rejoin him and watch over her flock. I wish I met her but never stood a chance . May she rest in peace . She did all she could xx... Collapse
