Monarchy and the role of the Lieutenancy at Rickmansworth Park School

On Tuesday 4th February, the Lord-Lieutenant and Marion Brown DL attended Rickmansworth Park Primary School. The visit started with an assembly to the whole school on the Monarchy and role of the Lieutenancy. This was followed by a session with Year 6 pupils who were engaged in activities looking at the Commonwealth and its values as expressed in the Commonwealth Charter. The pupils were also challenged to consider what they would need to do to prepare should Her Majesty the Queen visit their school. It was a very enjoyable morning and a great pleasure to work with bright and enthusiastic pupils.
