Meeting with Chief Inspector Lynda Coates in St.Albans

On 27th February 2019, The Countess of Verulam DL together with Penny Williams DL and Akhtar Zaman DL met with Chief Inspector Lynda Coates to better understand the Policing in the District of St. Albans.

The Chief Inspector has been in the post for almost a year and was able to provide some very useful insight into the force’s Strategic Aims and Priorities for 2019/2020, as well as how the hundred strong Police Force, under her leadership, deals with various forms of crime in St. Albans. Furthermore she explained her vision of engaging with partner agencies including the council, fire, members of the public and schools.
