Lieutenancy visit to Hatfield House

on 10 May 2022, A good number of DLs were given a wonderful tour of Hatfield House by Lord Salisbury, Lord Charles Cecil and Robin Harcourt Williams the archivist. We saw parts of the property and heard personal stories that the public may never see. That was followed by a presentation by Anthony Downs about the social and commercial work now and in the future at the house as well as in the local community. After an excellent buffet lunch so kindly given by Lord and Lady Salisbury-we were invited to tour the beautiful gardens.
