Hertfordshire Constabulary Awards Ceremony

Deputy Lieutenant Emma Robarts, Chief Constable Charlie Hall and the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire Liz Green attended the Hertfordshire Constabulary’s Awards Ceremony on 7 February 2024.

The Royal Humane Society Awards were presented by Chief Constable  Charlie Hall and Deputy Lieutenant Emma Robarts. The Royal Humane Society is a British charity founded in 1774 which promotes lifesaving intervention.  Awards were given to police officers, police support staff and members of the public in recognition of their impressive contributions to the saving or attempted saving of life.

The High Sheriff Liz Green and the Chief Constable presented Long Service and Good Conduct medals and Chief Constable’s Commendations. Long Service coins were presented to three Police staff, in appreciation for 20 years of service.  A commendation by the Chief Constable is the highest form of constabulary recognition, commending an officer or a member of police staff for actions requiring great courage, bravery, or outstanding work.
