Declaration Ceremony for the new High Sheriff Nicholas Buxton

Ant Chapman, Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire was delighted to represent the Lord-Lieutenant at the Declaration Ceremony for the incoming High Sheriff of Hertfordshire on 5th April 2025.
The ceremony confirmed the appointment of Nicholas Buxton as the new High Sheriff for Hertfordshire at Wareside Church, and heard that he has chosen “Nurture through Nature” as the theme for his year long term.
Nicholas succeeds Annie Brewster JP in this historic and important role.
