10th Anniversary of the Harpenden Hopper Service

On 3^rd July, Dr. John Howie DL represented the Lord Lieutenant at the 10^th Anniversary celebrations for the Harpenden Hopper service. He was joined by local MP Victoria Collins and Harpenden town mayor Councillor Kirsti Wenn. The Harpenden Hopper is an outstanding voluntary service, providing transport to Harpenden residents that might otherwise not be able to travel around the town. Carrying out over 250 passenger journeys a week, the service not only provides transport but also a social lifeline, combating loneliness and isolation in the community.
