Tring School Duke of Edinburgh Awards 2026

Representing the Lord Lieutenant and on behalf of the Duke of Edinburgh, Air Vice-Marshal Nick Kurth CBE presented a large number of pupils from Tring School with their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award certificates. The Awards were completed at Bronze and Silver levels, and by far the most popular elements of their awards were the expeditions undertaken. It should be highlighted that Air Vice-Marshal Nick undertook the scheme (quite a few years ago!) at Silver level during his apprenticeship at RAF Halton. He produced his Record Book at the celebration – much to the amusement of the award winners (whose records are now recorded digitally!)
