Harpenden Mayor’s Civic Service 2026

The Lord-Lieutenant was represented by Annie Brewster at Harpenden Town Council’s splendid Civic Service led by the Rector of St Nicholas’ Parish Church, Father Patrick Moriarty DL and was joined by Mayors from Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire together with members of the wider Harpenden community. The service was dedicated to Councillor Kirsti Wenn’s (new Harpenden Town Mayor) important theme, ‘Building a Better Future for our Young People’.  The Mayor’s chosen charities are Herts Young Homeless and Youth Talk, two brilliant organisations helping to address the challenges for many Hertfordshire young people.
