Opening of the New YMCA Campus Facility

Deputy Lieutenant Charlie Hall was pleased to attend an enjoyable event to formally open the superb newly built YMCA campus facility. The new environment is clean and modern and will undoubtedly greatly improve the local provision to support homeless individuals.

Charlie said, “The spirit and commitment from all I met, including trustees, staff, funders and wider stakeholders, was clear to see, all of whom appeared lifted by the excellent facilities they had created and would now be working in.  Most impactful, however, was meeting some of the client group themselves and seeing their genuine appreciation for the facilities that were now available to help support them back into sustainable living.
