Dacorum VE Day Service 2026

On Friday 8 May, the Lord-Lieutenant attended a commemorative event hosted by the Hemel branch of the Royal British Legion to mark VE Day and honour the Second World War generation from across the UK and the Commonwealth. The service took place at Boxmoor War Memorial (HP1 1JR) at 10.45am. Local residents, veterans and members of the armed forces community were invited to attend.
