Youth United Hertfordshire Sleep out 2025

As members of Youth United Hertfordshire, the Air Cadets were delighted to accept an invitation to the St Albans Sleepout, an event organised by Hertfordshire Young Homeless on 7 November 2025. Seven cadets and two staff from the St Albans Air Cadets joined the initiative to raise awareness of youth homelessness.

During the evening, they built shelters from cardboard and sheets, engaged with other youth groups, and enjoyed live music. At dawn, they packed down, enjoyed bacon rolls, and helped clear the site, leaving it better than before. The event showcased teamwork, resilience, and leadership, highlighting the cadets’ commitment to community service and positive impact
