Lieutenancy Presentation to Goffs Oak Primary School
Category : Events
DL’s Kate Belinis and Marion Brown had a very enjoyable morning at Goffs Oak Primary School on 18th November. Their presentation included the role of the Monarchy and Lieutenancy, Commonwealth and British Values. It was interesting to hear from the pupils as to their views on the importance of Commonwealth and British Values and how we all have a responsibility to consider the needs of others and contribute to society. The class also thought about what they would need to prepare should HM The King come to visit. The visit concluded with a tour of the school and grounds, both of which include well-being areas and a couple of songs which the pupils had prepared. Thank you everyone at Goffs Oak for a most enjoyable morning.
