Stevenage Festival Finale Concert

Deputy Lieutenant Dr Sally Burton was privileged to represent the Lord-Lieutenant at the Stevenage Festival Finale Concert at the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage on Saturday.  It was the culmination of a week-long showcase of Stevenage talent, hosted by Eamonn Walsh, with performances including a brass ensemble, a 14-year-old saxophonist, dancers, the Stevenage Community Gospel Choir, an 11-year-old pianist and the JD Jazz Band.

Before the performance, Sally was honoured to present awards from the Stevenage Arts Guild to a number of pupils from local Stevenage schools.
