Hertfordshire Lieutenancy delivers a talk to Wormley School about the Monarchy

Category : Events

Deputy Lieutenants Kate Belinis and Marion Brown had a very enjoyable visit to two Year 6 classes at Wormley Church of England Primary School to talk about the role of the monarchy and the lieutenancy. There was also discussion around the Commonwealth and its values and how they relate to the five British Values – Rule of Law, Democracy, Tolerance, Mutual Respect and Individual Liberty. Pupils were very engaged and enthusiastic, asking some great questions. They also raised some excellent ideas in respect of what they would do if His Majesty the King came to visit the school. A very enjoyable morning for Kate and Marion.
