North Herts District Council Chair’s Civic Event and Awards Ceremony 2024

Dr Sally Burton DL represented the Lord-Lieutenant at the North Hertfordshire District Council Chair’s Civic Event and Award Ceremony on Friday 1st March 2024 at the Town Hall in Hitchin. The Chair’s chosen charities are Resolve (North Herts Drug & Alcohol Treatment and Feed Up Warm Up), and funds were raised by a raffle and silent auction. There were also awards with accompanying videos, namely the North Herts Young Star Award, Caring Award, Health Award and Green Award. The event was attended by many Mayors and Chairs, plus the High Sheriff Liz Green and the Chairman of the Hertfordshire County Council, Terry Douris.
