Opening of joint Air Force and Army Cadet Unit in Ware

On 23^rd September the Lord-Lieutenant opened the joint Air Force Cadet and Army Cadet unit in Ware.

He commented – “A pleasure to open this unit and be entertained by a good number of cadets with a band, marching competition and even a flight simulator ( and I crashed three times…!). This is the way forward for different cadet and other uniformed youth organisations to share their facilities-especially when  they are as good as this new one in Ware.”
