Hertford Museum fund raising event

Hertfordshire County Council vice chairman Cllr Lesley Greensmyth, Emma Robarts DL, Hertford Museum Curator Sara Taylor and Royal British Legion County Chair Andrew Huggins, attended a charity fundraising evening at Hertford Museum, Hertford, on Thursday, 13th July, at 1800hrs.  Funds were raised in aid of digitalising the records of the local, now-disbanded Hertfordshire Regiment.  The museum has created a new website designed to preserve the records of this valiant volunteer regiment, two of whose members won VCs in WWI, for posterity and for wide access: https://www.hertfordmuseum.org/the-hertfordshire-regiment
