Hertfordshire Law Society Annual Dinner 2023

Sally Burton DL, represented the Lieutenancy at the Hertfordshire Law Society Annual Dinner at The Old Palace at Hatfield House last night. The current President is Diana Kirsch, Associate Dean (Enterprise) at the University of Hertfordshire Law School, and she had invited alumna Grace Ononiwu (Director of Legal Services at the CPS) as the guest speaker. The charity this year is Herts Young Homeless, and after various Awards were presented to new solicitors, trainees and mentors, CEO Jonny Whitehead gave a short talk about the charity and a service user told his uplifting story of how he had been helped.
