Northaw Women’s Institute Coronation Celebration Tea

On 12th May 2023, Karen Trew DL attended the Northaw Women’s Institute Coronation Celebration Tea. It was a wonderful celebration and great tea party hosted by Kathy Shingles, President of Northaw WI – the oldest WI in Hertfordshire, starting in 1917.

About 80 members of Northaw and nearby WI groups attended, as well as Sir Charles and Lady Fiona Walker, Pat Kingsland, Vice Chair, Board of Trustees of Hertfordshire Federation of WIs and Pam Wright, a fellow member of the Board of Trustees.

It was a lovely afternoon, a great afternoon tea and good company with plenty of stories.
