Service at the North Hertfordshire Memorial Park & Crematorium

On 20th May 2023, Deputy Lieutenant Sally Burton represented the Lieutenancy at the North Hertfordshire Memorial Park & Crematorium for a Service of Dedication & Consecration of the new Mausolea in the Memorial Gardens. There is a large Italian community in Hitchin and the Mausolea is principally for them. There were two plaques that Sally unveiled, one in English and one in Italian. Guests included local Italians and local Funeral Directors, as well as the team from Memoria who run the site.
