Unveiling of a plaque for the QGC in marking The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

On 2 June 2022,  Deputy Lieutenant Jo Connell was delighted to join the Mayor of Dacorum, in marking the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, by unveiling a plaque for a tree planted for the Queen’s Green Canopy in Adeyfield  Hemel Hempstead. This was after a visit to St Barnabas Church Adeyfield where Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 1 laid the foundation stone of the church on 20 July 1952. Members of the local community who watched the unveiling joined the Mayor and Deputy Lieutenant for refreshments in the church afterwards.
