Visit to New Hope Charity in Watford

On 14th November a delegation from the Lieutenancy visited the New Hope charity in Watford. The charity exists to serve individuals who are homeless or vulnerably-housed through the provision of accommodation and opportunities to transform lives.

Charity members provided information about the charity, the work it does, and the support provided to the homeless and the vulnerably-housed.

The charity was a recipient of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services in 2017, and the award has helped raise the profile of the charity as well as the moral of the volunteers.
