The Lord Lieutenant hosts 60 local veterans at Moorpark mansion

On 17 July 2023, the Lord-Lieutenant hosted about 60 local veterans in the Arnhem room at Moorpark mansion. The veterans from all 3 services were shown the room in which the infamous Barnum landings were planned and given a talk on the military history of the mansion by Alan Jameson.

The Lord-Lieutenant is grateful to Luther Blissett DL and Moore Park golf club for supporting the event, and he expressed his wish to ensure that the veterans living in Hertfordshire are never forgotten.
