The King’s Award for Enterprise winners across Hertfordshire

The Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire-Robert Voss CBE CStJ- expressed his delight that 10 Hertfordshire businesses were awarded The King’s Award for Enterprise announced on 6th May.

This is out of a total of 257 King’s awards throughout the United Kingdom making Hertfordshire once again one of the most successful entrepreneurial counties.

The successful businesses are from all sectors of industry – including the University of Hertfordshire which won an award in the International Trade category – as did 8 of the other winners.

They range in size from 3 employees to over 2,800 which demonstrates the diversity of the business community in the county with some businesses winning for the 2nd, 3rd and even 4th time.

Together with the Business Panel of Deputy Lieutenants – the Lord-Lieutenant would like to see even more nominations this year for what is considered the world’s most prestigious business award ensuring that Hertfordshire remains truly the County of Opportunity.
